In summary my theory that everyday the chicks would be fed more did not hold true. The last full day, (day 19) the adults brought 59 less insects to the nest than on day 16. Apparently from 5-6 PM the adults found a nest of insects of some sort, they brought 55 insects to the nest, all were small so I couldn't identify what they were. That's almost a bug a minute for a full hour, Wow! I guess the amount of insects brought to the nest is more related to what the adults can find as opposed to what the chicks can eat.
