Granddaddy's Mother Bird Home Page is dedicated to the memory of Lt. Col. Jenner Johnson (deceased), former Senior Army Instructor, Natchitoches Central High School, Natchitoches, Louisiana, USA, who is responsible for the introduction of Orienteering into the Ark-La-Tex Area. His attitude  foresight, content of character, and thoughtfulness allowed him to establish personal and professional standards that all can strive for. It is hoped that the sport of Orienteering, through this Home Page, will encourage others to strive for the level of vision, character, integrity, and dedication that he represents.
