What a beautiful day, a fantastic Park, a wonderful meet, and a marvelous time. "At least for a little while, All Was Right With the World.!"

Yep, that's the way 131 (or so) runners and 50 (or so) helpers, administrators, coaches, parents, chaperone's, and guest felt about the 2008 Spring O at Lake Bistineau. The running was good, the spirits high, and the competition keen. Seems the chemistry was there for an outstanding meet. It has got to be the best O Meet we have ever experienced. Certainly the Park and weather did their part - along with some mighty fine young - and older - people. A special "thanks" goes to the Byrd JROTC Orienteering Club Administrators, and their Coach, MSG Doyle, for doing such a super job of administering the meet and the Haughton JROTC Boosters, run mostly by JROTC Cadets, for their excellent concessions stand. Both group's efforts made it happen, and it would not have happened if not for them. Thanks to all for coming.
