What a beautiful day, a wonderful meet, and a marvelous time.
"At least for a little while, all was right with the world!"
Yep, that's the way 159 (or so) runners and 30 (or so) helpers, administrators, coaches, parents, chaperone's, and guest felt about the 2007 Jimmy Blackmon Memorial O Meet at the beautiful Eddie Jones Nature Park.   The running was good, the spirits high, and the competition keen.  Seems the chemistry was there for an outstanding meet.  A special "thanks" goes to the Byrd JROTC Orienteering Club Administrators, and their Coach, MSG Doyle, for doing such a super job of administering the meet and the Haughton JROTC Boosters, run mostly by JROTC Cadets,  for their excellent concessions stand.  Both group's efforts made it happen, and it would not have happened if not for them.  Thanks to all for coming.
